How are you driving?
Turn your head to look round the cab and check the real mirrors. Looking away from the road for 2 s while driving is fined. Uses the camera, on this machine only.
A voice that speaks up now and then when your driving burns fuel: revving high, flooring it, braking late, idling. A short recap at the end. Needs the sound on.
You change up, with the wheel's paddles (E and Q on the keyboard); the truck changes down for you as it slows. Hold a gear too long and the engine revs out of the green band.

Speed
Auto-cruise holds the speed limit and stops for robots and stop streets. Drop both hands, or press Space, to brake.
Step 3 of 3 · The rules of the road
Deliver across town. Safely.
Robots
Stop before the white line on red. Amber means stop if you safely can — push an amber you had room for and it costs you. Never stop on the crossing.
Stop streets
Come to a full stop with your bumper just behind the line and the wheels still. The cross road has right of way: wait for a gap before you go. A rolling stop is a fine.
Turns
The route turns left or right at some junctions; the arrow at the top left shows which way, and when. Slow right down: your trailer cuts inside the corner, so swing wide and watch the trailer.
Speed, gaps, brakes
Keep within the limit and left of the centre line, and brake early and smoothly. Leave a big gap to the car ahead: a bump costs you heavily, and a real crash ends the delivery.
